The Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan handed over copies of archival records to Belarus

On 31 May 2016 the Chief of the State Policy in Archive Business at the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ms. Gulzira Karsakbaeva handed over to the Belarusian side in Minsk the copies of archival records available from the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These documents relate to the history of the Belarusian State Theatre of Drama (now the National Academic Drama Theatre named after Yakub Kolas) who during the Second World War worked in Kazakhstan and the life of the People’s Artist of the USSR Larisa Laksanrovskaya in evacuation in Almaty.

The documents have been selected in accordance with the previous agreements between the Director of the Belarusian Department for Archives and Records Management V. Adamushko together with the Director of the Belarusian Archives of Literature and Art G. Zapartyko and the General Director of the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan L. Aktayeva.
