BelNIIDAD issued a book The Historical Heritage of Belarus: Identification, Preservation and Research: Papers of International Scholarly Conference and the methodical recommendations

The Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies (BelNIIDAD) issued a book of papers, The Historical Heritage of Belarus: Identification, Preservation and Research: Papers of International Scholarly Conference on the 90th anniversary of the State Archive Service of the Republic of Belarus, the 85th anniversary of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and the 20th anniversary of the source study faculty at the Belarusian State University (Minsk, 17-18 May 2012. In two parts. Part 1 (247 p.), Part 2 (380 p.) and the Methodical Recommendations for work with documents in the Institutions of the Republic of Belarus introducing the ISO 9000 series international standards for Quality Management Systems.

The Methodical Recommendations for work with documents in the institutions of the Republic of Belarus introducing the ISO 9000 series international standards “Quality Management Systems” explain the items of the ISO 9000 international standards and the state standards of the Republic of Belarus, adopted on their basis, in the part concerning the organization of work with documents based on the legislation on archives and records management in the Republic of Belarus.

This procedural guidance deals with various aspects of records management practices in implementing the ISO 9000 international standards, in particular the terminological aspects of their application, the relations between the quality management documentation and other document systems, including the organizational and administrative documents. In addition, the guidance discusses the issues of most common violations in the legislation on archives and records management in the Republic of Belarus that may appear when introducing the ISO 9000 standards into practice in the institutions.
