The Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies (BelNIIDAD) has released a monograph Historical and Legal Aspects in the Restitution of Belarusian Archives and a collection of documents Theory and Practices of Belarusian Archaeography 18th -20th cc.

A monograph, The Historical and Legal Aspects in the Restitution of Belarusian Archives is dedicated to the history of the displacement of Belarusian archive collections and separate documentary monuments beyond their provenance. Discusses the organisational and legal aspects in the restitution of archival materials. The book continues the previous work by the author, M. F. Shumeiko “…On the restitution of Belarusian archives in the past and present” (Minsk, 1997).

A collection of documents, Theory and Practices of Belarusian Archaeography 18th -20th cc. presents the most relevant records, including research articles, reviews of historical editions, fragments of procedural guidances, rules for archival editing, regulations of archaeography institutions etc. which testify to the theoretical problems of archaeography, the main stages of its genesis and development in Belarus, the results achieved in the practical and procedural activity.
