An archival lesson held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno as part of the national «Archives to Schools» initiative and the «Young Archivist» pilot project

On October 16, 2026, the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno hosted its second «Archival Navigator» lesson for students from the 10th-grade «Young Prosecutor» legal-track class at Secondary School No.28 (named after V.D.Sokolovsky) in GrodNo.The session, organized as part of the national «Archives to Schools» initiative and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, aimed to introduce students to the country’s historical past. During the lesson, the students learned the rules for working in the reading room and mastered techniques for researching archival documents using a finding aid (guidebook). A film showcasing the work of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno was also screened.
