«Together, We Are Belarus!»
On September 16, an information session titled «Together, We Are Belarus!» was held at the M.Gorky Central City Library for students from the Bobruisk State Forestry College (a branch of the Belarusian State Technological University). Tatyana Klimenok, a First-Category Archivist at the Zonal State Archive in Bobruisk, spoke to the students about the tragic events of the interwar period, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory. The students also learned a great deal about the archivist profession, how documents are preserved, and how every single sheet of paper represents a piece of history. The archive’s collections also contain documents highlighting the historical significance of September 17 as a major national holiday that opened a new chapter in the history of the Belarusian people.
