Film Screening about Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus at the Rechitsa District Lyceum on Knowledge Day
On September 1, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and events marking Knowledge Day, staff from the Rechitsa State Archives held a film lecture at the Rechitsa District Lyceum. The documentary «Independence Day: A Chronicle of Belarusian Statehood» was shown to 11th-grade students. The film, produced by the Belarusian State Archives of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, reflects the major heroic and tragic milestones in the history of the Belarusian people throughout the 20th and early 21st centuries (the events of the First and Second World Wars, the reunification of Western Belarus with the Byelorussian SSR, the development of the republic during the Soviet period and today).
