«Environmental Culture is Everyone’s Responsibility»: A Unified Information Day was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI)

On August 25, 2026, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) held a Unified Information Day dedicated to the theme: «Environmental Culture is Everyone’s Responsibility».

During the event, the institution’s staff familiarized themselves in detail with information materials prepared by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The event covered the conservation and restoration of Belarus’s forest resources, the restoration of unique wetland ecosystems, the protection of fauna, and measures to prevent water and air pollution. Practical aspects of creating a comfortable living environment were discussed, as well as the important role of the population in the separate collection of municipal solid waste. Particular attention was paid to the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated April 1, 2024, No.361-Z «On the Responsible Treatment of Animals».

Summing up the results of the Unified Information Day, the archive-museum staff noted that environmental stewardship and environmental awareness are a personal contribution of every citizen to preserving our country’s natural heritage for future generations.
