Screening of the documentary «Independence Day: A Chronicle of Belarusian Statehood» at the Main Justice Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee

On July 23, 2026, a Unified Information Day was held at the Main Justice Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Employees from the territorial enforcement departments of the Vitebsk Region participated in the event via videoconference. The agenda included issues of combating cybercrime, preventing road traffic injuries, and the history of the country’s main national holiday.

Vladimir Kokhanko, Head of the Document Use and Publication Department of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, addressed the audience on the topic of «Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus». He recalled the historical component of the holiday and introduced the documentary «Independence Day: A Chronicle of Belarusian Statehood», prepared by the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
