On an archival lesson for 7th-grade students of A.Sukhambayev Secondary School No.16 in Grodno held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

On July 17, 2026, an archival lesson was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for 7th-grade students of A.Sukhambayev Secondary School No.16 in Grodno as part of the «Archives for School» campaign. During their visit, the children participated in a «Sounds of the Past» quiz, guessed encrypted archival terms, identified everyday objects of local residents using illustrations from archival advertising brochures, and used artificial intelligence technologies to adapt 19th-century costumes to modern looks. The archive visit concluded with a master class on archival document restoration, where the students not only observed but also restored a photocopy of a prescription from the Grodno Pharmacy.
