«Territory of ROST»: Molodechno Archivists Master Emotional Intelligence

Anastasia Krent and Tatyana Podorovskaya, employees of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno, took part in an event as part of the «Territory of ROST» Youth Women’s Platform project.

Crisis psychologist Victoria Protas and communications trainer Daria Kolesnaya presented the topic «Emotional Intelligence: How to Learn to Recognize Your Own and Others’ Emotions». For archivists, whose work requires particular attentiveness, perseverance, and interaction with others, these skills are doubly valuable. The ability to manage emotions and transform internal experiences into a resource helps not only in building harmonious personal and family relationships but also in professional work: when communicating with archive visitors, working in a team, and solving complex work problems.

«The atmosphere was sincere, trusting, and inspiring». «We received competent answers to questions that are important both for everyday life and for our profession», shared meeting participant Anastasia Krent.

The «Youth Women’s Platform ‘Territory of ROST’« project is implemented by the Youth Council under the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and creates a space for unlocking inner potential, self-improvement, and discussing pressing issues. It is noteworthy that the event took place during the Year of Belarusian Women and became a significant event for young women in the Molodechno district, emphasizing the importance of developing a female professional community.
