The Central Laboratory hosted a group of schoolchildren as part of the «Archives for Schools» campaign

The summer vacation for students from Minsk Secondary School No.86 was very educational on July 1st. The students from the school’s summer health camp attended a tour of the state institution «Central Laboratory for Document Preservation of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus».

The children watched with interest as unique artisans painstakingly restore worn paper documents from past eras, carefully bind them, and copy particularly valuable documents into microfilm.
