On the holding of a ceremonial meeting of the staff at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno on the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus

On July 2, 2026, on the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a ceremonial meeting of the staff was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno.In his speech, Alexander Bronislavovich Venskovich, Director of the Archives, noted the significance of this national holiday, which expresses the national pride and historical heritage of the Belarusian people. He emphasized that the independence of our state is based on the achievements of the victorious generation. At the end of the meeting, the staff was shown the film «Independence Day: A Chronicle of Belarusian Statehood», produced by the Belarusian State Archives of Film and Television. On this pre-holiday day, the staff, together with the Archives Director, laid flowers at the Soviet Border Guards Memorial and honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War with a moment of silence.
