The exhibition of documents «Eternal flame in the hearts of generations» dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People was opened in the State Archives of the Grodno Region
On June 22, 2026, the exhibition of documents «Eternal Flame in the Hearts of Generations» was opened in the institution «State Archive of Grodno Region», dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People.
The exhibition presents documentary materials that reveal the scale of the tragedy of the civilian population during the Great Patriotic War: documentary materials illustrating the criminal activities of the occupying authorities, acts of the regional commission to investigate and establish the atrocities of the German fascist invaders, eyewitness memories of the atrocities of the invaders, documents on the perpetuation of the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition is intended to remind of the irreparable losses suffered by the Belarusian people and the need to preserve historical memory for future generations so that such a tragedy never happens again.
