Year of the Belarusian Woman: A Patriotism Lesson and Film Lecture at the Rechitsa Pedagogical College

On May 28, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the Year of the Belarusian Woman, staff from the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa held a lesson on «Lilia Udovenko’s War and Peace» for students of the Rechitsa State Pedagogical College. During the meeting, archivists told the future teachers about the archive’s founder, Great Patriotic War veteran Lilia Grigoryevna Udovenko, and showed them her documents. The lesson concluded with a screening of the documentary «Hero Fortress», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents in anticipation of the 85th anniversary of the outbreak of war and the defense of the Brest Fortress.
