Participation of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art in Civil Defense Training Events
On May 27, 2026, L.A.Rimoreva, Lead Archivist of the Department of Information, Publication, and Document Use at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art, participated in a meeting dedicated to the opening of a comprehensive exercise with the command and control bodies, involving territorial defense forces. The exercise focused on: «Managing the forces and resources of the Central District Unit of the Minsk City Subsystem of the State Emergency Service during the threat and occurrence of emergency situations in peacetime and wartime. Putting the district civil defense into martial law. Conducting emergency rescue and other urgent operations in peacetime and wartime. Practicing resource provision for civil defense forces (including emergency response agencies and units) in wartime».
S.S.Vecher, First Deputy Head of the Emergency Situations Department of the Minsk City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Central District, and A.V.Bertosh, First Deputy Head of the Minsk City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, spoke at the event.
The exercise contributed to increased awareness of necessary safety measures and emergency response procedures. Participants also received necessary recommendations and instructions that help develop their competence and confidence in responding to potential threats, as well as ensure their readiness to act in emergency situations in both peacetime and wartime.
