#EverythingStartsWithFamily: When Documents Embody People, and Behind Them, Love
A national media marathon, «#EverythingStartsWithFamily», has been organized in Belarus—a large-scale multimedia project designed to showcase the power of traditional values through the lively, unedited stories of ordinary families. Representatives of various professions share footage from their daily lives, talk about support, mutual assistance, and how the greatest happiness is born in shared life. The Molodechno Regional State Archives has also joined the initiative.
The subject of one of the video portraits is Olga Dvoretskaya, Head of the Department of Document Security, State Records, and Scientific Reference at the archive. Together with her husband, Pavel, and their three daughters, she has created a truly strong, large family, where the walls of their home are not just an address, but a space of trust, warmth, and daily care. Olga is originally from Vileyka, but her professional and personal life are tied to Molodechno.Here she built a career in archiving, met love, and blossomed into a family. Pavel works on the railroad—a profession that demands responsibility, punctuality, and reliability. These qualities seem to have become a family code: in their home, there’s always someone to lean on.
Their eldest daughter, Vasilisa, is making progress in her studies, and she devotes her free time to music and acting, exploring creative endeavors. The younger children, twins Alisa and Ksyusha, are currently exploring the world in kindergarten, learning about friendship, making their first discoveries, and, of course, daily giving their parents heartfelt laughter and childish «why?»s.
In their family video, Olga and Pavel consciously eschewed glossy perfection. The camera doesn’t hide the morning bustle, the children’s cries, or the tired but happy eyes of their parents. But the focus is on the main idea, which has become the tuning fork of the entire project:
«Family isn’t when everything is perfect. It’s when you’re not alone!»
This simple yet powerful phrase has become a reflection of their life credo. It encompasses quiet support in difficult times, shared walks, the ability to forgive, and the joy of being surrounded by those who love simply, unconditionally. In their lives, #EverythingStartsWithFamily.
