Two screenings of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» were held by the staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region at Secondary School No.15 named after D.M.Karbyshev in Grodno and Gymnasium No.10 named after Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeyev) in Grodno

On May 15, 2026, staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region organized two screenings of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» for students of Secondary School No.15 named after D.M.Karbyshev in Grodno and Gymnasium No.10 named after Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeyev) in Grodno. The film was prepared by the Belarusian State Archives of Film, photo, and audio documents for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress. Film were produced with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The unique archival footage made a strong impression on the students and once again reminded them of the courage and dedication of the Soviet soldiers who bore the brunt of the enemy’s first blows on June 22, 1941.
