A National Archives of the Republic of Belarus Employee Participates in the Republican School of Young Scientists «Science – The Choice of the Future»

On May 14 and 15, 2026, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted the Republican School of Young Scientists «Science – The Choice of the Future» (hereinafter referred to as the School). A.V.Kukharenko, an employee of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the School. The event, organized by the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, aimed to popularize scientific activity among young people, develop the human resources potential of national science, and strengthen interaction between scientific organizations and educational institutions.

The first day of the School was devoted to key issues in the organization of scientific activity. Representatives of the Higher Attestation Commission, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and scientific and information-analytical institutions spoke at the plenary session. The speakers covered issues of training and certification of scientific personnel, the use of modern information resources, and support for young scientists. The second day of the School was held at the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, where discussions of current scientific issues continued within ten specialized sections, including «History and Archaeology». This section featured presentations by young scientists, who touched on promising areas for the development of historical and archaeological research, as well as issues of regulatory framework for archaeological activity in the Republic of Belarus.

The School emphasized the importance of the continuity of scientific traditions and the involvement of young specialists in addressing the country’s priority scientific and technological development challenges. The organizers noted that such events contribute to the formation of a vibrant scientific community and create additional opportunities for the professional growth of young researchers.

The School concluded with a ceremonial presentation of certificates of completion.
