An event dedicated to the national symbols of the Republic of Belarus took place at the Zonal State Archives in Lida
On May 11, 2026, the Zonal State Archives in Lida held an event dedicated to the Day of the National Flag, National Emblem, and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus. The event featured children of archive staff.
Archive staff introduced the children to the symbols of our country and explained the meaning of each element of the coat of arms and flag. Fostering an understanding of the essence and significance of the national symbols of the Republic of Belarus and cultivating respect for them is one of the important tasks of patriotic education, the goal of which is to foster an active civic stance, love and respect for the Motherland, pride in its achievements, and responsibility for its future.
To reinforce the material, the young patriots were invited to participate in a quiz prepared for them. The children had a fun and engaging time and received memorable gifts.
