Congratulations to WWII veteran Ivan Aleksandrovich Pasyuga

On May 5, 2026, on the eve of the 81st anniversary of the Soviet people’s Great Victory Day over the Nazi invaders, Artem Kamalyev, Head of the Main Directorate of Justice, Yuri Shestopalov, Director of the State Archives of the Gomel Region, and the institution’s trade union committee visited WWII veteran Ivan Aleksandrovich Pasyuga.

Ivan Aleksandrovich Pasyuga has reached his 100th birthday. His front-line career began in the Altai Territory as a signalman and ended in Königsberg. His orders and medals testify to his long, heroic military career.

The guests warmly congratulated the veteran on the upcoming Victory Day, presenting him with commemorative gifts and wishing him good health and a long life.

Yuri Shestopalov, on behalf of the Communist Party of Belarus, expressed words of appreciation and gratitude for the peaceful skies above, for the Great Victory that no one can take away from our people.
