Tour of the State Archives of the Minsk Region
On April 29, 2026, a sightseeing tour of the State Archives of the Minsk Region was held for first-year students of the Minsk State Energy College as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project.
The students learned about the institution’s history and visited the archives. During the tour, events dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident were held, including a presentation of the banner exhibition «April 26 – Chernobyl Tragedy Remembrance Day» and a screening of the documentary «Chernobyl: Chronicles of the Tragedy», provided by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents (BSACFPD).
The tour was a true lesson in respect for historical memory and an understanding of the importance of archival work.
