On holding a thematic event, «Chernobyl: Bitter Memory and Eternal Pain», for students of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School named after N.I.Shlyaga, Mozyr District»

As part of the national «Archives for School» campaign, a thematic event, «Chernobyl: Bitter Memory and Eternal Pain», was held on April 27, 2026, for students of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School named after N.I.Shlyaga, Mozyr District», dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident.

Students were shown the documentary «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, and a selection of documents from the Narovlya District Executive Committee for 1986, stored at the archival institution, revealing information about the measures taken by local authorities during the year of this terrible tragedy.
