Leading archivist of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region, Alexey Shvyryov, presented a presentation to those present, «The Gorki «Lifestyle» of Pavlina Myadzelka». The presentation, based on archival documents, is dedicated to the period of work of the famous Belarusian actress, teacher, and writer Pavlina Myadzelka at the Gorki Agricultural Academy.
Pavlina Myadzelka’s life exemplifies devotion to her native land and the preservation of her language and traditions. The memory of this disaster allows us to draw on our roots, to be proud of them, and to continue the work of those who carefully passed on our culture to future generations.
Another theme of the event was the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. Law enforcement officers were shown the documentary film «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», dedicated to this event.
