On the Seminar-Workshop on «Formation and Registration of Files. Transfer of Documents for Permanent Storage to the State Archives in Orsha»

On April 23, 2026, Svetlana Kozhanova, a first-category archivist in the Department of Formation of the National Archives of the State Archives in Orsha, held a seminar-workshop on «Formation and Registration of Files. Transfer of Documents for Permanent Storage to the State Archives in Orsha» at the Orsha State College of Mechanics and Economics.

Staff of the educational institution were introduced to the main stages of file formation, including an expert assessment of the value, binding, page numbering, preparation of a certification inscription, cover design according to the inventory, and the procedure for transferring documents for storage to the state archives.

Furthermore, a specialist from the State Archives in Orsha checked the correctness of the permanent storage documents prepared for transfer to the state archives, as well as their physical condition.
