A unified information day at the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok – «Chernobyl: From Revival to Sustainable Development»

On April 16, 2026, the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok held a unified information day, «Chernobyl: From Revival to Sustainable Development», to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident, the worst in the history of nuclear energy, which had widespread economic, social, and psychological consequences. During the event, the archive staff viewed the documentary exhibition «The Pain of Chernobyl» and watched the documentary film «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
