The Vitebsk Region State Archives participated in an event dedicated to the memory of D.F.Raitsev, one of the organizers of the partisan movement

As part of the «Archives for School» campaign, Alexander Korol, Director of the Vitebsk Region State Archives, and Tatyana Buevich, Deputy Director, participated in a celebratory event at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.42 in Vitebsk named after D.F.Raitsev» to commemorate the birthday of D.F.Raitsev, one of the founders of the partisan movement.

Participants were told about the partisan movement in the Vitebsk region, the partisan parade that took place on July 23, 1944, in the regional center, and were shown the film «Liberation of Vitebsk» from the collection of the BGAKFFD.
