A Thematic Lecture as Part of Educational Events for Employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus
On April 7, 2026, the Belarusian Women’s Union, a primary organization of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, organized a thematic meeting with Zhanna Ivanovna Nekhvyadovich, a gynecologist and head of the antenatal clinic at Minsk City Polyclinic No.23, and Svetlana Aleksandrovna Zenovchik, a psychologist. The meeting featured an engaging discussion on women’s health. The participants focused on the key spiritual values of respect and love in relationships between the sexes. Zhanna Ivanovna and Svetlana Aleksandrovna also answered questions from the women in the archive.
Zhanna Nekhvyadovich and Svetlana Zenovchik toured the archive’s operations and visited the reading room. M.A.Starostenko, Chairperson of the Belarusian Women’s Union Primary Organization, spoke about the history of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the composition and specifics of document storage, and the archive’s work in publishing and exhibition activities.
During the tour of the archive, guests were able to see documents from partisan units during the Great Patriotic War: award certificates for partisan doctors, documents on the organization of medical work in partisan units, as well as unique documentary materials from the Belarusian State Medical University.
