A Lesson on Genocide in the Rechitsa District at Secondary School No.12 in Rechitsa

On March 19, 2026, a unified lesson was held in Belarusian educational institutions dedicated to the tragedy in the village of Khatyn, which was destroyed by the Nazis along with its inhabitants on March 22, 1943. As part of this lesson, ZGARech staff met with 11th-grade students from Secondary School No.12 in Rechitsa and told them about the genocide perpetrated by the Nazi invaders and their collaborators in the Rechitsa District, specifically the village of Kobylevo (now Pervomaysk), which repeated the fate of Khatyn on May 14, 1943. Archival documents related to the lesson were presented to the school graduates. The meeting concluded with a screening of the BGAKFFD film «History of the Great Victory».
