On the holding of a single information day at the Zonal State Archives in Mozyr

On March 17, 2026, O.M.Kovalkova, Member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and member of the Standing Committee on Human Rights, National Relations, and Mass Media, organized a single information day for the public at the Zonal State Archives in Mozyr.

O.M.Kovalkova presented information to the staff on modern approaches to regional development in our country, from economics to social infrastructure. She briefed the archive staff on the results of the previous five-year plan, goals, prospects, and priorities for 1926-1930, as well as changes in Belarusian legislation.

The meeting continued with questions from archive staff, who were interested in the region’s development prospects and planned large-scale projects. Issues such as changes to public transportation, free summer school travel, road repairs, street lighting, pension increases, and much more were brought up for public discussion.

At the end of the meeting, on behalf of the staff, State Archives Director Tatyana Sergeyevna Vakhrusheva thanked Oksana Mikhailovna Kovalkova for her visit and useful information.
