On March 12, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a meeting was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter NARB) with members of the memorial detachment of Post No.1, which maintains the Honorary Watch of Remembrance at the Eternal Flame in Victory Square. This time, 29 students from the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.7 of Minsk named after V.I.Liventsev» visited the archive.
As part of the meeting, the students were given a tour of the archive. I.V.Dorogush, Head of the Personal Collections Department, spoke about the archive’s history, composition, and document storage features, as well as the archive’s work in publishing and exhibition activities.
The students were also treated to a screening of the NARB video project «We Remember…», created by archive staff using artificial intelligence.
Next, the students visited the partisan archival repository. I.V.Dorogush and T.I.Brileva, lead archivist of the personal archives department, introduced the students to the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award sheets, combat leaflets, and other documents. The students were particularly interested in the personal file of Hero of the Soviet Union V.I.Liventsev, after whom their school is named.
