International Women’s Day Celebration at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

In honor of International Women’s Day, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation held a staff meeting.

Acting Director Grigory Stepanovich Zholnerkevich and Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization Vyacheslav Vitalyevich Rabetsky addressed the staff with congratulatory remarks.

Grigory Stepanovich congratulated the female staff on the holiday and wished them a festive mood, prosperity, health, and success in their families and careers. Taking the opportunity, Grigory Stepanovich emphasized the special role women play not only in the family and life of each of us, but also in society as a whole. Noting the many achievements of women in various fields, Grigory Stepanovich also reminded those present of the preponderance of women in the archival sector of our country. After thanking his female colleagues for their invaluable contribution to the development of our society, the archival industry, and the country as a whole, Grigory Stepanovich called on the male staff to more frequently demonstrate understanding, respect, and care for women, not to leave them alone with their problems and needs, to respect their rights, and to appreciate their significant role in the lives of not only every man but also society as a whole.

Echoing Grigory Stepanovich’s words, Vyacheslav Vitalyevich, on behalf of the union and himself, once again congratulated his female colleagues on the holiday, thanking them for the beauty, comfort, and indescribable atmosphere they create within the team.
