A photo exhibition dedicated to Defenders of the Fatherland Day has opened at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

Starting February 23, 2026, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB) invites reading room users, archive visitors, and photography enthusiasts to visit the «Positive» photo workshop exhibition project at the Yanka Kupala Central Library in Minsk. The exhibition is dedicated to Defenders of the Fatherland Day and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and was created with the participation of the primary organization of the Belarusian Union of Women at NARB.

The exhibition brings together the works of photographers and talented amateurs who captured moments where history comes to life in metal. The camera lens focuses on not just exhibits, but silent witnesses to courage. The exhibition combines the austere aesthetics of the Stalin Line, the monumentality of artillery, and the swift silhouettes of combat aircraft. It offers an opportunity to take a fresh look at familiar monuments and experience the power that lies behind the concept of «Defender of the Fatherland».
