Lessons for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.18 named after L.M.Dovatora in Grodno» and the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.23 named after F.P.Gudey in Grodno» as part of the «Archives for School» campaign at the State Archives of the Grodno Region

On February 16 and 17, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the State Archives of the Grodno Region held two lessons on the topic «Partisan and Underground Movement in the Grodno Region During the Great Patriotic War» for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.18 named after L.M.Dovatora in Grodno» and the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.23 named after F.P.Gudey in Grodno».

During the lessons, students were introduced to documents from partisan and underground brigades operating in the Grodno region during the Nazi occupation, including orders from partisan brigade headquarters, combat diaries, notebooks, photographs, as well as memoirs and letters from participants in the Great Patriotic War. Students were also introduced to exhibitions of documents on the events of the Great Patriotic War, displayed in the reading room, as well as collections of documentary materials prepared with the participation of the State Archives of the Grodno Region.

The students were given tours of the archive, during which they visited the archival storage facility and the department of document digitization and restoration.
