Classes for the «Young Archivist» group were held at the Zonal State Archives in Lida
On February 13, 2026, as part of the «Young Archivist» pilot project, classes were held at the Zonal State Archives in Lida for the «Young Archivist» group, formed by the 8th «B» class of Lida Secondary School No.12. According to the schedule developed by the state archives, two classes were held. I.A.Petrova, a first-category archivist in the records management, formation of the National Archives File, and document use department, spoke to the students about the use of documents permanently stored at the institution. The students were introduced to the types of requests received by the archive and their processing. During the practical lesson, the students observed how archivists search for information based on requests from organizations and applications from citizens.
On the eve of Remembrance Day for Internationalist Soldiers, students attended the opening of the exhibition «Afghanistan – Our Memory and Pain», located in the archive’s reading room.
