Participation of Archival Institution Heads in a Roundtable Discussion Dedicated to the 105th Anniversary of Belarus Publishing House

On January 27, 2026, the National Library of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the NLB) hosted a roundtable discussion entitled «105 Years of Belarus Publishing House: From Cultural Heritage to the Strategy of Future Book Publishing».

Deputy Minister of Information D.V.Yezersky addressed the participants with a welcoming address, read a congratulatory address, and presented awards to the staff of Belarus Publishing House. NLB Director General V.F.Gigin spoke about the long-standing fruitful collaboration between the library and Belarus Publishing House.

Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the NARB), Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok spoke about the archive’s joint projects with the Belarus Publishing House for 2024-2025 and presented the NARB’s Honorary diploma to the publishing house’s staff for their active work in popularizing documents from the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus.

A.N.Gonchar, Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, spoke about the use of archival documents in publishing projects on the history and culture of Belarus.

E.A.Makarenko, Director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, spoke about the documents of the Belarus Publishing House in the archive’s collections and the joint projects being implemented. She also presented a congratulatory address to Editor-in-Chief A.N.Karlyukevich.
