On the thematic lesson «Holocaust! How it was…» for students of the Mozyr Children’s Art School No.2

As part of the national «Archives for School» campaign, on January 27, 2026, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, an employee of the Information and Documents Department of the Zonal State Archives in Mozyr conducted a thematic lesson «Holocaust! How it was…» for students of the Mozyr Children’s Art School No.2. The lesson was organized to broaden students’ understanding of the Holocaust, familiarize them with its history, and foster tolerance towards people of different nationalities.

The students were very interested in the archival documents of the Polesie Extraordinary Commission for the Investigation of Atrocities Committed by Nazi Invaders During the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the City of Mozyr and the Mozyr District.
