A Unified Information Day was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On January 15, 2026, a Unified Information Day was held in the conference hall of the National Library of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the NLB). The event was titled «Key Aspects of the Address of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G.Lukashenko to the Belarusian People and the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus». V.F.Gigin, Director General of the NLB, Member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and delegate to the second session of the Seventh All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, PhD in History, and Associate Professor, addressed the library staff and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.

He spoke about the main achievements of the Republic of Belarus for the period 2021-2025 and also discussed in detail the country’s socio-economic development program for 2026-2030. The lecturer also discussed plans for the development of cultural, tourism, and scientific spheres and outlined the main development priorities for the Republic of Belarus in the upcoming five-year period.
