Participation of Republican Archives in the Creation and Opening of the «Minsk in the Circle of Friends» Museum

On December 17, 2025, the grand opening of the «Minsk in the Circle of Friends» Museum took place at Minsk Gymnasium No.20. Representatives from the embassies of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Slovakia in Belarus attended the event.

As part of the event, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents presented documenting the history of Minsk’s friendly ties, its first sister cities, official visits, and cooperation, reflecting the historical value of these peoples. Of significant value are documenting the signing of agreements and economic and cultural ties. The museum features all 38 sister cities of Minsk from Russia, Germany, Georgia, Zimbabwe, China, Cuba, Nicaragua, the UAE, Poland, Turkey, France, Japan, and other countries.
