The Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents at the Theatrical Concert «Loving Cinema, Belarusian Style», dedicated to Belarusian Cinema Day

On December 8, 2025, Mikhail Vladimirovich Garelik, Deputy Head of the Document Use and Information Department, and the Head of the Archives of the Document Preservation Department, took part in the concert «Loving Cinema, Belarusian Style», which was held in the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic.

The best employees of the Belarusfilm studio, members of the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers, and film and video distribution staff were awarded awards from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of Culture, Information, Sports, and Tourism, and the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers.

The concert program included performances by Belarusian pop artists, and the concert numbers were themed around Russian and world cinema.

Following the theatrical concert, the premiere of the film «The Turning Point» (directed by D.Soroka) took place. Fragments of the film «Screen. Time. Life» (directed by V.P.Tseslyuk) from the collection of the BGAKFFD were used in its production.
