Students from P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University visited the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region

On November 20, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region held a tour of the archive and a practical seminar on the subject of «Records Management» for students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University.

During the tour, the students were introduced to the archive, its main activities, and the measures taken to ensure the preservation of documents. They also received advice on organizing research activities in the archive’s reading room.

During the seminar on «Formation and Storage of Files in Records Management», the students gained experience in determining the type and duration of document storage, and were introduced to the principles of document systematization and the main accounting documentation of the archive.
