On November 6, 2025, a meeting dedicated to October Revolution Day was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

Acting Director of the Archive, G.S.Zholnerkevich, addressed the staff.

In his speech, he emphasized that the October Revolution was a global event that radically changed the entire governmental configuration of the countries in our region.

It was noted that a significant factor leading to the events of the autumn of 1917 was World War I, which had been going on in our country for four years by that time.

Ultimately, the historical transformations that took place 108 years ago laid the foundation for the establishment and development of Belarus’s state sovereignty.
