A ceremonial meeting of the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, dedicated to October Revolution Day
On November 6, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus was held to mark October Revolution Day.
Every year on November 7 (October 25, old style), Belarus celebrates a nationwide holiday – October Revolution Day. This date is associated with the numerous victories, accomplishments, and labor achievements of the Belarusian people, beginning in 1917, which continue to be a source of particular pride.
Until 1991, November 7 was one of the main holidays in the USSR and was known as the Day of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
National Historical Archives of Belarus Director Mikhail Glushakov congratulated the staff on the national holiday.
Archive staff were shown a video dedicated to the events of 1917 in Petrograd, Moscow, Minsk, and Mogilev.
