An exhibition of documents, «Urban Transformations of Polotsk», dedicated to the Year of Improvement

On October 30, 2025, an exhibition of archival documents, «Urban Transformations of Polotsk», opened in the library of the BSTU Branch «Polotsk State Forestry College» to mark the Year of Improvement. The exhibition, prepared by staff of the Zonal State Archives in Polotsk, includes 19 documents covering the period 1924-1925.

The archival materials on display illustrate a number of activities aimed at improving Polotsk’s urban development, as well as social policies aimed at improving the quality of life for residents. The exhibition allows visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the historical context of the city’s transformations and their impact on its development.
