The State Archives of the Vitebsk Region held a lecture on emergency procedures as part of the Unified Safety Day

On September 25, the republic is hosting events aimed at educating the public on how to handle various emergency situations and raising awareness of safety issues.

The workday at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region began with a general meeting, during which a lecture was given and educational films were shown to remind employees of fire safety procedures, building evacuation procedures, and how to behave in a crowd. A detailed explanation of how to use self-rescuers was also provided.

All this knowledge will be useful in the event of an emergency, even outside of working hours, at various crowded venues, such as movie theaters, shopping centers, stadiums, etc.

To prevent home fires, employees were briefed on home safety rules and were reminded of the rules for using electrical equipment. Various types of fire alarms were demonstrated. The lecture was given by Anton Nikiforovich Yupatov, a veteran of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and currently an employee of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region.
