The exhibition «National Unity Day: The History of a National Holiday in Belarus» opened at the State Archives of the Grodno Region

On September 17, 2025, the exhibition «National Unity Day: The History of a National Holiday in Belarus» opened at the State Archives of the Grodno Region. It is dedicated to the reunification of Western Belarus with the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (BSSR).

The exhibition features documentary materials reflecting the socioeconomic transformations and the implementation of Soviet policy in the western regions of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (BSSR): documents on the nationalization of industrial enterprises, documents reflecting the collectivization of agriculture in the Grodno region, orders for the reorganization of Polish schools into Belarusian-language schools, information on the status of literacy efforts, and many other documents.
