On September 1, 2025, a meeting was held between the Director of BelNIIDAD A.E.Rybakov and first-year students

On Knowledge Day, the Director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs A.E.Rybakov met with first-year students of the History Department of the Belarusian State University. The meeting was organized by the History Department of BSU and the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus in order to familiarize students studying in the specialties «Document Management» and «Archival Science» with their future profession.

A.E.Rybakov presented a report-presentation, thanks to which first-year students got an idea of the archival service of the Republic of Belarus, the tasks facing archival institutions, and the most significant projects being implemented. In his speech, he also focused on current scientific and methodological issues in the field of archival affairs and records management, the activities of BelNIIDAD aimed at solving them, and the close relationship between document scientists and archivists in achieving the goal of preserving the documentary historical and cultural heritage of the country.

As part of the event, A.E.Rybakov, on behalf of the country’s archival service, presented the head of the source studies department, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor S.N.Khodin with the book «Simeon Polotsky. Ascetic and Educator», published within the framework of the «Library of the Union State» project.

The meeting was held in a friendly businesslike atmosphere and aroused genuine interest on the part of the students.
