On Knowledge Day, the director of the archive of public associations of the Gomel region took part in the ceremonial assembly of secondary school No.3 of Gomel named after D.N. Penyazkov

On September 1, 2025, the director of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region» took part in the ceremonial assembly dedicated to Knowledge Day at secondary school No.3 of Gomel named after D.N. Penyazkov.

Irina Vladimirovna congratulated the students and their parents, the teaching staff of the school on the beginning of the new academic year, wishing the students new discoveries, excellent grades, true friends and a lot of joy from studying, because knowledge is the main wealth, and teachers – wisdom, patience, creative ideas, professional achievements and joy from the success of their students. Irina Vladimirovna also noted that one of the main sources of knowledge is a book and donated a set of books published within the framework of the project «Library of the Union State» to the institution.

The goals of this project are to support and publish fundamental research on key pages of the joint historical path of Russia and Belarus. The project presents bright pages of the history of Moscow and Minsk, reliable materials about the heroic past of peoples, national ways of life and traditions, as well as about the culture and spiritual bonds that bind Belarusians and Russians.
