A meeting of young archive workers with the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions Alexander Mataras was held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region

On August 26, 2025, a meeting of young archive workers with the Chairman of the Gomel Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions Alexander Mataras was held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region.

Today, 7 young specialists work at the State Archives of the Gomel Region, three of whom joined the team this year, for two of them this is their first job. All of them are members of the Trade Union of Employees of State Institutions. At the meeting, they shared their ideas and suggestions with Alexander Vasilyevich, talked about themselves and the team. The young people asked questions about the guarantees provided for by the collective agreement, about the participation of the trade union in the process of adaptation of young archivists, about the creation of comfortable and safe working conditions. The dialogue turned out to be interesting, constructive and open.

– It is always a pleasure to meet with young specialists. It is important for us to hear young people, to respond to their initiatives, ideas, to motivate and support them, – noted Alexander Mataras. He wished the young workers determination and self-improvement in their profession, and active participation in trade union affairs.
