Holding the Young Specialist Day at the State Archives of the Grodno Region

On August 25, 2025, the Young Specialist Day was held at the State Archives of the Grodno Region. This event was organized by the archive management together with the trade union committee in order to implement measures for the effective adaptation of new employees (young specialists) in the team, increase motivation and involvement in work, identify and resolve current issues and problems related to the interests of young specialists and new employees.

The director of the archive S.I.Miklashevich addressed the employees with a welcoming speech, noting the importance and significance of the chosen profession of an archivist, emphasizing the key role of archives in the protection of historical memory.

N.A.Bekish, deputy director, told those present about the continuity of traditions, reverent attitude to the chosen profession, respect, loyalty to duty, the authority of the profession and devotion to a favorite cause.

The chairperson of the trade union committee of the primary trade union organization T.V.Levina drew the attention of those present to the main provisions of the collective agreement and spoke about the social life of the archive.

Then a tour was conducted, during which the employees were introduced to the history of the creation and development of the archive, got acquainted with the work of the departments, the reading room, and visited the archive storage.
