Zonal State Archive in Krichev» in the preparation and holding of an exhibition and conversation within the framework of the republican action «Archives – to School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist»

On August 15, 2025, within the framework of the republican action «Archives – to School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist» on the basis of the institution in the «Zonal State Archive in Krichev» leading archivist Victoria Kondratenko prepared and presented a stand exhibition «History in Books», and also held a conversation «Honoring the Memory of History» for students of the summer health camp «Summer Fairy Tale».

The leading archivist acquainted the children with archival materials confirming the atrocities of the Nazis on the Krichev land, eyewitness accounts of the mass murder of civilians, and those who defended our region. After all, the Belarusian people selflessly fought against the occupiers and made a great contribution to the Great Victory over fascism.

In the reading room, a stand exhibition «History in Books» was prepared for visitors. Then the children were invited to visit the storage facility and see how and where the documents are stored.
